samudra 1- the smash!

The 2nd week samudra was just passed over.
14.12.13~I played for double in badminton. Me and my partner, Syeros had to face~

1) Pacific - Farah and Sab
2) Atlantic - Zu and Gaya
3) Celtic - Amal and Lily

We are the new couple for Arctic. And honestly, yaaa i did have the dream to win a medal. But the hope is just to perform well. So the battle started. We were beated by Farah and Sab. Frankly speaking, it was not because of their 'winners' but it was more due to our unforced errors. So, it was a bit frustrating there. However, i also believed that since it was our starting game, i could consider that it was our 'warm up' match.

Passionate to make a comeback, we improved ourselves in the second match against the Atlantic young couple. It was so tough that we had to cope with cunning, tricky service from Zu and also Gaya who is very good at the baseline. We worked hard and syukur to Allah that we managed to beat them in straight sets.

*the best thing is that, i made 'it'!!!!! 'It' refers to the condition when the shuttlecock reaches the top edge of the net and falls freely to the other side of court. I really wanna make this and alhamdulillah i managed to get it in this match.

The third match was quite a tough one. We gotta beat the Celtic girls who are the defending champion. We worked hard again, but there was no luck to defeat them. But honestly, we are defeated by the first partner well, emm not because they are super strong but it is more on our unforced errors. we 'bangkit' for our second match- the Atlantic who dragged the Pacific to the rubber set, in which with us, we defeated them in straight sets. Meanwhile, the Celtic couple, well, yaaa they played nicely that we were forced to move side by side, back and front of the court. But this time too, we made many unforced errors.

OK.

we will try harder next time! definitely we will! ok syeros sayang?

Losing is not about failure, it is just try again next time. :)

*post on glorious basketball is coming up next.
